World Wide Digi DX Contest 2019
The World Wide Radio Operators Foundation ("WWROF") has announced the first annual World Wide Digi DX Contest ("WW Digi"). The contest will occur over 24 hours on August 31 and September 1, 2019 using the FT4 and FT8 modes on the 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10-meter bands.
Balloon launched from World Scout Jamboree floats across the Atlantic Ocean
The fact that something so small and low-cost was able to cross the Atlantic Ocean is, in my opinion, amazing. Had to be pretty exciting for the scouts involved. Well done Scouts!!

I bought a refill bottle of FEBREZE Extra Strength Fabric Refresher, non-aerosol, today to try it in the swamp cooler. The hope was I'd be able to put a small amount in the water in the bottom of the swamp cooler and it would continuously blow into the house when the cooler is running.

WELCOME
Welcome to my newly created Blog. It is a work-in-progress currently, as I learn to use the various settings, layout options, etc. so bear with me if it changes a lot each time you visit. Thanks for visiting, and feel free to give any advice you may have regarding the layout -- if you think it should be rearranged differently let me know. What looks OK to me, may look confusing or disorganized to someone seeing it for the first time...so point out any mistakes you see, or changes you think might make it better.
